The national football team of Moldova lost the friendly match against the similar squad of Saudi Arabia that was played in Jeddah. Moldova was beaten 0-3, with the goals being scored by Omar Hawsawi (10th min.), Taiser Aljasem (57) and Muhannad Asiri (88), IPN reports.
Moldova manager Alexandru Spiridon used the following players: S.Pashchenco, A.Macritski, Racu (c), Bogdan (Rogac 46), Jardan, Cojocari, Al.Pashchenco (Rata 65), Platica (V.Macritski 82), Spataru (Ambros 46), Boichuk (Vremea 70), V.Damascan (Paireli 56). Four footballers made their debut for the national team. These are the Macritski brothers, Bogdan and Boichuk.
This year Saudi Arabia will compete in the FIFA World Cup in a group with Egypt, Uruguay and Russia.
