The European Union, the Finish Chairmanship of EU and the Government of Germany are watching closely the evolutions in the Transnistrian dispute and keep close relationship with the diplomatic representatives from Chisinau, Wolfgang Lerke, the ambassador of Germany declared, at a meeting with Vasile Sova, the minister of Reintegration. According to a press release of the Ministry of Reintegration, within the meeting with the ambassadors of EU member countries accredited to Chisinau, the minister informed the foreign diplomats about the tragedy that occurred in the morning of July 6 in Tiraspol, as well as the willingness announced by the authorities from Chisinau to offer all kind of assistance, inclusively medical, to the persons that suffered as a result of the explosion as well as logistic assistance for the investigation actions if needed. The importance of not admitting the tensions within the society was emphasized within the discussions, at the same time being condemned the tentative of speculating on the tragedy, information broadcasted by the media from Tiraspol and some foreign media bodies. At the end of the meeting the participants agreed on maintaining a close contact and to inform each other about the further evolutions, the press release says.
