Moldova gives special importance to cooperation with UNDP and other UN agencies in order to draft and implement at national level programs and major projects in health, education, youth development, social protection matters, Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev announced about this at the meeting with Bruno Pouezat, UN Resident Coordinator to Moldova, on the occasion of ending his mandate in RM.
Tarlev thanked the European official for the activity held as representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to Moldova, highlighting that there were noted significant developments as regards the bilateral cooperation within this period.
According to a Government press release, Bruno Pouezat appreciated highly the cooperation relations set between RM Government and UNDP concerning the resolving of the problems that Moldovan society deals with. These achievements, in his opinion, are due to the decisive declaration of the team, implemented via the provisions of the Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy (SCERS). At the same time, Bruno Pouezat confessed that the constructive partnership will develop further with his successor’s contribution.
Bruno Pouezat held the office of Coordinator Resident of the United Nations to Moldova for four years.
