The Ministry of Justice won the case concerning the illegal appropriation of the Mechta Health Resort in Belgorod-Dnestrovsc of Ukraine’s Odessa region, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry of Justice says this facility was lost as a result of fraudulent transactions performed in 2012 by the manager of Mechta Health Resort, who was an employee of I.S. Branesti run by the Department of Penitentiary Institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Moldova.
The trial had been delayed for a period, but, as a result of approaches made by the Ministry of Justice of Moldova to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the case was solved in Moldova’s favor.
