The last FIFA rankings for this year were released on December 21. Moldova remained on the 170th spot, IPN reports.
The team trained by Alexandru Spiridon is to compete in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying competition. Among Moldova’s opponents, world champion France has the best position – second. Iceland ranks 37th, Turkey – 39th, Albania – 60th and Andorra – 133rd.
The FIFA rankings are topped by Belgium, which is followed by France and Brazil. The next rankings will be made public next month.
