The Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) during August 8-10 mounts a mission to the Guangzhou International Green Energy Exhibition in the People’s Republic of China. This is one of the greatest and most influential solar photovoltaic and energy storage exhibitions in China. The 2023 Solar PV & Energy Storage World Expo will cover an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, with 1,500 high-quality exhibitors that will present last-generation photovoltaic panels.

In a news conference at IPN, the president of the Moldova-China CCI Boris Foca said that staging by an economic mission to the People’s Republic of China each month became a tradition already. The institution aims to bring Moldovan businesses closer to China’s businesses. “Our major goal is to go and create these economic missions in a bid to reduce the number of intermediaries. A lot of industries, a lot of sectors purchase raw material and equipment from all over the world and most of these are made in China. Our key objective is to ensure connection and serve as a bridge to a better future for the two components – businesses in Moldova and businesses in China,” stated Boris Foca.

According to him, this time it goes to an exhibition with a very topical theme – green energy. “About 70% the component parts of an Aeolian turbine are made in China. About 85% of the components of a photovoltaic panel are made in the People’s Republic of China. 71% of the electric cars have their main components made in China. Therefore, we are firmly convinced that the participation, alongside us, in the Green Energy economic mission in China’s Guangzhou will be beneficial to all those involved,” noted the president of the Moldova-China CCI.

The head of the Exhibitions Division of the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry Daniela Popușoi said the green energy segment is extremely developed in China and the 15th edition of the exhibition that will be mounted this August will present the most recent tendencies. “The Green Energy exhibition will include pavilions referring to green energy, namely the storage of this energy and innovative equipment. There will be presented the most recent tendencies and innovations in three main categories – photovoltaic production equipment, production technology and solar products and research equipment,” stated Daniela Popușoi.

“The multiple exhibitors from over 30 counters will present battery production equipment, different types of lamps and chargers and other services to a broad public that will include decision makers and key buyers. The fair will consist of production pavilions, live demonstrations, workshops and lectures on different subjects related to industry,” stated Daniela Popușoi.
