Moldova beaten by Slovenia

The national football team of Moldova lost 0-1 to Slovenia in the second match of the UEFA Nations League. The only goal was scored by Damjan Bohar in the 28th minute, IPN reports.

After a weak first half, the “tricolors” woke up in the second half when Alexandru Epureanu entered the field. Moldova had the chance of tying in the middle of the second half, but Cătălin Carp failed to score while right before the gate. The team trained by Engin Firat suffered the first defeat in the current Nations League edition. In the first match played three days earlier, Moldova drew with Kosovo 1-1.

Moldova plays the next matches of Group C of the UEFA Nations League next month, against Greece and Slovenia.
