The national U-21 football team of Moldova was defeated 1-2 by the similar squad of Gibraltar in the sixth match of the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition, IPN reports.
Gibraltar could have led even by 3-0, but missed a penalty. Sergey Mishkov scored for Moldova in minute 80 after the goalkeeper of the opponent team made a mistake. The guests scored the last victory in 2017, with 26 defeats in 27 matches since then.
