The national women’s football team of Moldova lost away to the similar team of Azerbaijan 0-1. In the last match of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifying competition, Azerbaijan scored the only goal in the 46th minute, through Aysun Aliyeva, IPN reports.
Moldova finished the qualifying competition with three points, as Azerbaijan. The team trained by Eduard Blănuță avoided the last place in the group because they won the home match against Azerbaijan 3-1.
Eduard Blănuță used the following players: Munteanu, Cerescu, Prisăcari, Caraman, Toma, Țabur, Chiper, Mițul, Mardari (Cojuhari 46), Kolesnichenko, Topal. “I’m satisfied with the game, not yet with the result,” said Moldova manager Eduard Blănuță.
