Moldova was included in the list of states with systemic deficiencies that generate the continuous violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, shows a resolution adopted during the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) taking place in Strasbourg, Info-Prim Neo reports. The list contains alongside Moldova such countries as Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia. Under the resolution, the problems in the mentioned countries result from the misconduct of the law enforcement bodies, illegal detention, the overlong judiciary procedures and the non-implemented court decisions. The PACE session started on January 24 and will last unti January 28. The Moldovan delegation consists of the MPs Ana Gutu (PL), Valeriu Ghiletschi (PLDM), and Grigore Petrenco (PCRM). The day the session began, Ana Gutu was elected Vice President of the PACE. On her blog, Ana Gutu wrote that on Wednesday she had a meeting with the PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu with whom she discussed the constitutional crisis in Moldova. She also wrote that Mevlut Cavusoglu intends to visit Moldova in February together with the chairpersons of the PACE groups. The composition of the Moldovan delegation is old as its new members have not been yet elected. The PACE regulations allow the old delegation to take part in the sessions for six months.
