Moldova amid centers of contagion by flu

The Republic of Moldova is in the middle of two sources of flu and the risk of contagion is high, the head of the Chisinau Health Division Mihai Moldovanu said Monday. A yellow code for flu infection was announced in Ukraine and Hungary. Cases of flue were also reported in Romania. A number of 711 cases of viral infection were recorded in the municipality of Chisinau last week. The figure is lower compared with the previous weeks, but this does not diminish the risk of contagion in Moldova. Mihai Moldovanu recommended eating more products rich in vitamins A and C, especially fruit and vegetables as they increase immunity, avoiding staying long in the cold and in humidity, and seeking medical assistance in case of headaches, fever and muscle pain.
