Thursday, December 11th, 2014, Mobiasbanca – Groupe Société Générale celebrated the opening of its branch in Rezina and the inauguration of a new ATM at Lafarge Company.
One of the goals of Mobiasbanca is to be closer to its clients and this new branch continues the development of the bank’s network throughout the Republic of Moldova regions. The official opening ceremony started traditionally, with the red ribbon cutting by Ridha Tekaia, president of the bank, together with His Excellency, Pascale Vagogne, Ambassador of France in Moldova, Eleonora Graur, President of Rezina District Council, and Mihail Cebotari, mayor of Rezina. The event was attended by several clients of the bank, individuals and corporations, including Orange, represented by CEO, Liudmila Climoc and sales director, Adrian Panuta.
In his opening speech, Ridha Tekaia, president of the bank, mentioned: “We have been invited by our client and partner Lafarge to come to Rezina and we accepted the challenge, as one of our goals is to be closer to our clients. During the few months since the opening, the branch has already shown good results. As part of the international financial group Société Générale, Mobiasbanca is here to support the development of the business environment in Republic of Moldova. With this new branch, I hope we'll actively participate at the economical development of Rezina and its district.”
The new branch is in line with the standards of Société Générale and offers a full range of banking services and products, both for individuals, SME and corporate clients.
In the same day, Mobiasbanca inaugurated a new ATM in Rezina, at Lafarge factory, in order to be more accessible for its clients – employees of Lafarge, but also for all inhabitants of the region.
His Excellency, Pascale Vagogne, Ambassador of France in Moldova, expressed his appreciation for the activity of the two big French companies in Rezina district and all over the country. He wished good luck to both of them and mentioned that the economic development of the region is boosted by their presence.
Eleonora Graur, President of Rezina District Council, welcomed Mobiasbanca in Rezina and mentioned that the local authorities highly appreciate the contribution of Lafarge and Mobiasbanca for the development of the district and they are open for fruitful, long term partnerships.
