Ministry of Finances announces an auction of selling state bonds

The Ministry of Finances announces, for Wednesday, October 18, the auction of selling state bonds with floating interest with the circulation term of two years.
The nominal value of a state bond is of MDL 100. The interest for the first coupon is of 11.56% of the nominal value. The volume of the interest afferent to next coupons will be determined each semester, depending on the fluctuations of the interest rates for state securities established on the primary market. At the date of payment of the state bond, their holders will receive concomitantly with the last coupon, the nominal value of the bond.
State bonds can be procured by all those interested: individual and legal persons both autochthon and foreign, through the intermediary of any commercial bank, which is a primary dealer. The most active primary dealers are “Banca de Economii”, “Mobiasbanca”, “Banca Sociala”, “Moldincombanc” etc.
MF emphasizes that state securities are the most secure and rentable income source which is not taxed. They can be sold at any time on the secondary market, trough the primary dealers.
Requests for buying state bonds should be presented to the primary dealer-bank as late as Tuesday, October 17, current year.
