The Ministry of National Education of Romania on its website published the methodology for admitting Romanians from abroad to state higher education establishments for the 2018-2019 university year, IPN reports, with reference to the Embassy of Romania in Moldova.
The admission figures were transmitted to the state universities that, based on university autonomy, will distribute the tuition-free places with scholarships and the tuition-free places without scholarships by such areas as bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies.
The admission calendar, available places and own admission methodology could be found on the website of each university. Also, the Ministry of National Education will update the information on its website, in the section devoted to Romanians everywhere.
The Romanians from abroad who don’t know the Romanian language could attend courses of the preparatory year only at state higher education establishments whose programs were accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
To better inform themselves about the places available at each university to Romanians from abroad, the selection conditions and submission periods, the candidates are encouraged to go directly to the education establishments to which they want to apply.
