In those two remaining months of the year, Ministries are to spend about MDL 1 bln which is part of the sums planed for 10 months in the state budget, which haven’t been capitalized until now. The reasons of this situation weren’t explained by the Ministry of Finances. This week, Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev took an interest in how the ministries will make it to spend this money in 2 months, when they didn’t succeed to capitalize them during a 10 month period. He declared that the Government pleads for the total executing of the planed part of budget expenses, but requested that these sums are spent efficiently, “not just for the sake of capitalizing “. “You should invest efficiently and implement quality and efficient actions” requested the PM, warning the ministers that, if they spend public money in haste “they risk to be caught up by the Court of Accounts and the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption” Unsatisfying execution of the share of planned expenses in the state budget has been mentioned this week by the Minister of Finances Mihai Pop in the frameworks of a Government sitting. A similar warning has been made in October, when the budget was executed at a rate of 86%. For 10 months of the proportion was of 83.1%. According to Pop, the planned expenses of the state budget for 10 months of the current year were of circa MDL 9.47 bln, being executed in a proportion of about circa MDL 7.87 bln. In comparison to the last year, the volume of financing from the state budget increased by about MDL 1.58 bln or 25.3%. At the income chapter, the accumulation of MDL 8.44 bln for 10 months has been planned. The collected sum, on the other hand, was of MDL 8.68 bln or by MDL 235.7 mln more, the execution of incomes being of 102.8%. At the same time, incomes of MDL 1.83 bln have been designed for the budgets of the administrative-territorial authorities, the collected sum being of MDL 1.91 bln. Expenses for the local budgets, while planned to be of MLD 4.4 bln, have been implemented at an 83.7% rate.
