A minibus travelling on the Chisinau-Leuseni road overturned on November 21, close to midnight. There was the driver and four passengers on board, IPN reports, withy reference to the National Patrolling Inspectorate.
The people who got stuck in the minibus were helped to get out by patrol inspectors working on the route. A female passenger aged 60 was taken to the hospital for being offered medical assistance.
The minibus was driven by a 25-year-old man. He didn’t take into account the state of the roadway and the vehicle skidded off the road and overturned on the roadside, hitting an obstacle.
Earlier this week, when snow fell and there was ice on the roads, three passenger minibuses overturned the same day. No one was hurt in the accident that involved a minibus running on the Beșalma – Chisinau route that had 14 persons aboard. In the other two accidents with minibuses that overturned near Ustia village of Dubăsari district and on the Leova-Hâncești road, 23 persons suffered injuries and needed medical care.
