Drivers working on minibus routes in Chisinau continue to protest. During the day, the route administrators will meet to decide whether the drivers will resume work or will stop work for good.
Administrator of minibus routes No. 110, 104, 171 and 174 Mihai Reus has told IPN that hidden interests are pursued and the drivers are encouraged by somebody to continue protesting. “There is someone who manages things well from behind. I called my employees yesterday and asked them to go to work today, but nobody is on duty today,” he stated.
Anatol Chiriac, administrator of route No. 103, said the drivers didn’t go to work because yesterday’s meeting with the representatives of the municipality produced no result and they expect a reaction from the Chisinau City Hall.
Administrator of route No. 175 Veaceslav Gaina said that most of the drivers working on this route are on duty, but they will stop work if the threats on the part of other drivers go on.
