Milsami patron Ilan Shor on Tuesday evening presented the new coach of the team, Russia’s Gheorghi Iartsev, and spoke about the plans of the ‘red eagles’. The businessman said that a sports complex will start to be built in Orhei at the beginning of next year, IPN reports.
“The footballers will live at this sports complex. It will have three fields, one of which will be with artificial lawn. We plan to definitively move to Orhei next August,” said Ilan Shor.
He also said that from next year the team will lay emphasis on the children. “It is a social project. The training will be free. We want to contribute to developing the Moldova football,” stated the patron.
The new coach Gheorghi Iartsev said that he always liked working with young footballers. “The Moldovan football will make progress when there are young players raised by clubs. I will try to discover such footballers and to develop them. This is my objective,” she stated.
Gheorghi Iartsev will serve at Milsami until the end of the season. The contract may be extended. The team from Orhei takes the seventh position in the rankings, being 14 points behind the leader Sheriff.
