Milsami Orhei is close to a historical performance. The ‘red eagles’ will play the return match of the Europa League second qualifying round against Shakhtyor Soligorsk, Belarus, at home on July 25. A week ago, the two teams tied 1-1, the score being advantageous to Milsami.

“Milsami is ready to struggle. I count on my players and hope that they will treat the match with the greatest responsibility. Our major goal is to qualify,” said Milsami coach Stefan Stoica.

The match will be played at the Orhei District Sports Complex, starting at 6pm. In case of a favorable result, in the third qualifying round Milsami will play against Saint-Etienne, France. Earlier, Milsami never reached this phase of Europa League.

Dacia Chisinau will have a more difficult task in the match against Chernomorets Odessa. The ‘yellow wolves’ must recover after being defeated in Ukraine by 0-2. “Chances exist always. We will do everything possible to win and to score a victory that will secure our qualification,” said Dacia coach Igor Negrescu. In the first preliminary round, Dacia eliminated Teuta Albania after being beaten in the first-leg match with a difference of two goals.

The encounter between Dacia and Chernomorets will take place on Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau, starting at 20.15. According to a communiqué from the National Patrolling Inspectorate, traffic near the stadium will be diverted onto adjoining streets, while parking on Dacia Blvd. between the streets Burebista and Butucului will be banned. Police officers and carabineers will be on guard there.
