A military was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison for premeditated murder, IPN learned from a press release of the General Prosecutor's Office.
The soldier is accused that in September last year, during a short leave in his village of birth, he murder a villager. After drinking together, the military and a 46 year old man got into a fight. The former went home, took an axe, returned and hit the other man in the head. The victim died instantly.
The sentence can be appealed.
