Doctors of the Central Military Clinical Hospital provided gratis medical consultancy to the inhabitants of Marculesti village on May 4 and 5. The diagnostic equipment was available at the medical unit of the Marculesti aviation base. Lieutenant-Colonel Alexandru Josan, head of the Ministry of Defense’s press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the event was staged for the first time and will have continuation. “Our doctors have a very rich experience. They attended training courses and studied abroad and all the knowledge they accumulated at the Central Military Clinical Hospital can be useful in villages, where there is an acute shortage of medical service of a high quality,” said Alexandru Josan. The provided medical services covered general therapy, urology, neurology and dermatology. The Central Military Clinical Hospital also intends to send a group of military dentists, who will work independently. The provision of medical services by a mobile team of military doctors forms part of a project aimed at facilitating access to free medical assistance of a high quality in Moldova’s villages and towns, which is implemented by the Ministry of Defense and the Central Military Clinical Hospital.
