Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will be paying a visit to India during March 17-19. In New Delhi, the official will take part in the international conference "Raisina Dialogue", IPN reports.
Also, Mihai Popșoi will have a meeting with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks will aim to strengthen Moldova's relations with India and expand cooperation in areas of common interest. A memorandum of cooperation in the field of agriculture is expected to be signed.
On March 20, Mihai Popșoi will go on a working visit to Nepal. This is the first visit by a Moldovan foreign minister to Nepal. July 2025 marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
In Kathmandu, the Moldovan official will deliver a university lecture and meet with Prime Minister Sharma Oli, n Minister of Foreign Affairs Arzu Rana Deuba and Minister of Industry Damodar Bhandari.
