The delay of deputy ministers’ appointment shows the worthlessness of the founding agreement of the Alliance for European Integration. The statement was made on Tuesday by Mihai Ghimpu, head of the Liberal Party, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihai Ghimpu claims the AIE agreement doesn’t directly stipulate anything about the appointment of deputy ministers. “I see now why someone delayed this issue until after the signing of the Alliance agreement, so they can now block things up. If someone thinks the AIE constitution agreement was signed just so that the government could be formed and afterwards they can do whatever they want… well, they’re very, very wrong”, said Mihai Ghimpu. According to the Liberal leader, the appointment of deputy ministers was delayed because some Alliance colleagues, whom he didn’t name, gave up the idea of the ministries’ continuity and now request that deputy ministers were named only in ministries attributed to parties according to the AIE agreement. So far, the government appointed only 11 deputy ministers.
