The crisis cell of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on the security situation in the Middle East had a meeting on Thursday. It continuously monitors the developments in Israel and is in permanent contact with the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova and other responsible institutions in order to anticipate the possible dangers to Moldovan citizens, IPN reports.

The Ministry reiterated the appeal addressed on August 4 to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to refrain from non-essential travel to the State of Israel and the Middle East region, where the security situation is constantly changing and can change suddenly, without prior warning.

The MFA recommends the citizens who intend to leave Israel to use the existing transport routes. Ben Gurion International Airport operates normally and flights to the Republic of Moldova are provided systematically.

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the State of Israel operates on a regular basis and provides consular services. The Embassy’s contacts are 21 Leonardo Da Vinci St, Tel Aviv, Israel, +972 52-7789772 and israel.mfa.gov.md.
