The future of the Republic of Moldova, as that of Romania, is in Europe, while Moldova’s security and prosperity come from the West, not from the East, Romanian MEP Siegfried Muresan says in a message posted on a social networking site. According to the MEP, the Republic of Moldova must be built by fair people, IPN reports.
The politician said that the people of Moldova must take steps to build the country they want. “It’s time to organize yourselves and form a new political class from among the people – a political class of the people that will govern for the people. You should choose as leaders the most courageous of yours – correct, honest and competent persons who were always on the side of the good. You should have an eye on those who you know are not clean. You should not believe that they cleaned themselves yesterday for today,” stated the MEP.
Siegfried Muresan recommends the people to draw up a clear agenda. “It’s time to say it clearly what you will do in the future and which are the priorities: rule of law, which is laws equal for everyone. You must choose the path that Moldova will follow from now on so as to become a powerful, independent and stable country controlled by the people,” he stated.
The MEP noted that he follows the protests mounted in Chisinau and, as the people, is disappointed in the politicians who governed Moldova during the last 25 years.
