The Ministry of Health said it took legal action against the students who didn’t fulfill their contractual obligations and didn’t go to work as they were assigned by the Ministry of Health after they completed their residential studies, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry says that 103 lawsuits were filed against the medical students.
If the young specialists do not obey the contract signed with the Ministry of Health, they are obliged to restore the costs for their university training funded from the state budget and the post-university training in the amount calculated by the Ministry.
It should be noted that tuition at the faculty of medicine in 2017-2018 was 28,000 lei for students who studied on a contract basis.
