MP Marina Tauber, who was removed from the electoral competition for the post of mayor of Bălți municipality, announced her intention to open a parliamentary office in this town, saying she is eager to have meetings with the residents of Bălți so as to help them solve the problems they face, IPN reports.

“I promised you I will be active and will spend almost all the time here and will contribute to implementing a number of reforms, regardless of my status in the municipality of Bălți, which is a symbol of hope and struggle. Initially, we will implement social projects that are vital for the people,” stated Marina Tauber.

She noted she expects the inhabitants of Bălți will become involved and will propose ideas for improving the legislation so as to solve the experienced problems. “We will make effort to help as many people as possible. You can bank on us,” said the MP, adding until the office is opened, the people can go to Șor Party’s head office in central Bălți.

Marina Tauber, who gained most of the votes in the first round of the snap mayoral elections in Bălți, was excluded from the competition for irregularities in the funding of her election campaign. The candidate said her exclusion from the race was a political order.
