Moldovan wrestler Mariana Draguțan has won a bronze medal at the 2023 European U23 Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest. In the last fight, she beat Azerbaijan’s Gultakin Shirinova, IPN reports.
Mariana was beaten by the winner of the 53 kg weight class, Zeynep Yetgil of Turkey, but in the playoffs she won against Chadia Ayachi of France.
Earlier, at the same competition, Alexandrin Guțu won gold, while Vitalie Yeryomenko and Irina Rîngaci won bronze medals.
