Marian Pocaznoi has resigned from the post of chairman of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC), IPN reports.
In a press statement, Marian Pocaznoi explains that his tenure as member of the BCC expires on November 6. Given the responsibility and the role of the Broadcasting Coordination Council in the election campaign, he considers it is opportune to tender his resignation so that the institution he represents is not accused of being managed by a chairman with the expired term in office and in order to avoid speculations about the broadcasting regulator.
After his resignation was accepted, the post of chairman of the Broadcasting Coordination Council was taken over by Dinu Ciocan.
Dinu Ciocan has worked at the BCC since 2004. From 2011, he had been a member of the Council.
