Acting President and Speaker Marian Lupu does not expect much from the reports on the investigation of the April 7, 2009 events that will be rendered by the heads of the law enforcement bodies in Parliament on April 14. Asked by Info-Prim Neo to tell about his expectations, the Head of Parliament said there will be presented probably no new information. “We’d be glad to find out something new, but I’m not sure that it will happen,” said Marian Lupu. On April 14, Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco, head of the Security and Information Service Gheorghe Mihai and Minister of the Interior Alexei Roibu are to present details about the April 2009 protests in Parliament. The proposal to invite them to render reports before the MPs was put forward by the Liberal lawmakers last week, when it was two years of those events. Liliana Anghel, head of the Parliament’s press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the agenda of the sitting will be agreed at the beginning of the meeting, without convoking the Standing Bureau. The MPs will also decide if the debates on the April 7, 2009 events will be public or not.
