The consumers with debts to the thermal supplier and who did not respect the timetable for paying off the debts since the beginning of the heat season will spend the winter holidays without heat in their flats, says heat supplier “Termocom” JSC, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Olga Alergus, press service employee at Termocom JSC, says more than one block with debts will be disconnected from the thermal energy on December 27. Thus, seven blocks of flats managed by the Associations of Owners of Privatized Dwellings (AOPD) and Equity Ownership Societies (DCC), which did not respect the timetable set for paying debts will be disconnected. Among them there are AOPD 54/205, situated on Maria Dragan street, block 8/3, with a debt set on December 1 at about 157,000 lei; AOPD 50/312, Costiujeni street, block 8/3, with a debt of over 148,000 lei; AOPD 52/292 – Florilor street, block 18/1, totalling a debt of over 127,000 lei; AOPD 52/342 – Studentilor street, block 2/3, which owes a debt of over 237,000 lei; DCC-74, Muncesti Street, block 166, 164), which is over 183,000 lei in debt; and AOPD 53/341, on Calea Iesilor street, block 49a, entrance 2, which owes more than 119,000 lei.
According to the cited source, the enterprise has earlier warned the managers of dwelling fund that it will resort to disconnections from the centralized heating system if they do not pay off their debts.
This year, Termocom JSC sued 24,000 dwelling owners for not paying debts for heat, including 1113 that owe 1,000-3,000 lei, about 4600 – a debt of 3,000-5,000 lei, 3400 – 5,000-7,000 lei in debt, and about 4000 – a debt of 7,000 lei.
