Man suffers traumas after falling from walnut tree

A Chisinau resident was rushed to the hospital with serious traumas that he received when falling from a walnut tree in Valea Morilor Park. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 65-year-old man fell from a height of about 3 meters. The man suffered serious associated traumas, contusion of the thorax and dislocation of the coxofemural joint. A man aged 65 died unexpectedly at the workplace, while a 68-year-old man died at home. Both of the men suffered from cardiovascular diseases. Three persons tried to kill themselves. A woman aged 21 took a large number of pills, while a 35-year-old woman under the influence of alcohol and a 25 year-old man cut their veins. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Emergency Hospital recorded 736 calls, including 62 cases of trauma, 68 cases of acute viral infections, 22 deliveries and seven strokes.
