Man stabbed in abdomen by friend

A man was rushed to the hospital with a stab wound in the abdomen. He was stabbed by his friend in the evening of the Independence Day. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Station, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital from an apartment located on M. Sadoveanu St. Three women tried to kill themselves. Two of them, aged 31 and 51 respectively, took pills. A 19-year-old woman cut her veins in public while under the influence of alcohol. A 20-year-old man aged 20 was found in an alcoholic coma on Mircea cel Batran Blvd. at about 22.00 and taken to the hospital. Two men aged 51 and, respectively, 63 died owing to cardiovascular problems. Yesterday and last night, the ambulance doctors dealt with 740 calls in Chisinau, including 78 cases of trauma and 108 cases of acute viral infections.
