Man seriously injured in road accident

A young man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital in Chisinau in a serious condition on Thursday evening after his car was involved in a traffic accident. The man ran his Volkswagen-Golf into a minibus while traveling on the road that connects Chisinau and Tohatin commune. Sources in the hospital said that the 24-year-old man suffered mental shock, cerebral coma, open fractures of the left femur and left forearm and traumatic shock. An unidentified drunken woman in her 50s was taken to hospital from Bazinului Bystreet with the convulsive syndrome. A man supposedly in his 60s was found on Inculet Street with cranial-cerebral trauma and mental shock and was hospitalized. A number of 624 calls to the emergency service were recorded on July 30.
