Man killed in Tsarigrad fire

A 48-year-old man lost his life in a fire that happened in Tsarigrad village of Drochia district on April 11. Emergencies Service spokeswoman Dorina Sochirca has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire started in the man’s house at about 11pm. Most probably, it was caused by a smoldering cigarette. Employees of the Tsarigrad mayor’s office said that the man had lived alone for about five years. The woman with whom he had two children left him and went to work abroad. The children live in Balti. Social worker Lilia Starnovschi said the man was ill and had a second disability disagree. The locals often saw him drunk. The two fires that occurred in Moldova yesterday and last night resulted in one death.
