A man from the city of Bender fell into the elevator shaft from the third floor. It happened at the training and production enterprise of the Society of the Blind "Maiak". The man was transported to the hospital, IPN reports.
The Transnistrian Ministry of the Interior said the elevator was opened manually. The man thought that the elevator reached the third floor, opened the door and, without making sure, stepped into the void.
He fell on the roof of the elevator cabin, which was on the ground floor. Employees of the rescue unit came to his aid. He was later taken by an ambulance crew to the hospital.
