Man electrocuted to death while preparing electoral meeting

A resident of Codru village of the municipality of Chisinau was electrocuted on Wednesday. The man was taking part in the organization of an electoral meeting. He climbed a post to connect an electric power cable and fell to the ground electrocuted. The man died before the ambulance arrived, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the spokesman for the General Police Commissariat Tudor Capatana, the man was 47. On the same day, a woman aged 27 drowned in a pond near Parlita village of Falesti district. A 35-year-old person got drowned in Stefanesti village of Stefan Voda district. The body of a man aged 36 was taken out of a pond in Drochia district. The police are investigating the cases.
