A man died when his car overturned near Căpriana village of Strășeni district on Wednesday afternoon.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Strășeni Police Inspectorate Mariana Didenco said that the driver supposedly tried to overtake another car, but lost control of his vehicle. This struck laterally a car and then overturned.
As a result of the impact, the 36-yera-old driver died on the spot, before the arrival of an ambulance. The driver of the car that was hit laterally, who was also aged 36, and his 22-year-old female passenger were rushed to the hospital for medical care.
