A man aged 36 died when a pile of earth fell over him during digging works at a building site. The accident happened at a depth of about two meters in the yard of a private house situated in Botanica district of Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, earth and also a concrete slab fell over the man. The rescuers took him out in about 40 minutes, but the man didn’t survive.
An investigation is under way.
