A man who set the house of his former wife from Bacioi village on fire and ill-treated his elder son was jailed, IPN reports.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Botanica district established that the culprit aged 47 forcibly entered the house of his former wife and physically abused his elder son. Later, he set fire to the house, threatening his son who tried to stop him with an ax.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the offender was sentenced to five years in jail for domestic violence, threatening with murder and forcible entry with destruction of property.
The sentence is not yet definitive.
