Man commits suicide by hanging himself

A 67-year-old man from Bacioi commune of the municipality of Chisinau hanged himself on Thursday, August 12. His son took him out of the loop and called the police and an ambulance. The doctors could not yet save him. The same day, another three persons from Chisinau tried to kill themselves, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Chisinau Ambulance Service. The youngest of the victims is 16 years of age. The girl was admitted to the Mother and Child Center for detox after taking different pills. A man aged 34 cut his veins open. He was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. Another man, 33, attempted a suicide by taking an overdose of pills. He is now receiving treatment at Saint Trinity Hospital. A 29-year-old man was admitted to the reanimatology section after suffering narcotic poisoning. The Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 685 calls in 24 hours. The ambulance doctors provided assistance in 72 cases of trauma, 65 cases of acute viral infection, 5 strokes, 36 deliveries, and other emergencies.
