President Maia Sandu in 2024 earned 244,931 lei in salaries, plus daily allowances for trips abroad of 100,176 lei, IPN reports.
As for real estate, the head of state declared, as in previous years, an apartment of 74.5 square meters to the value of over 440,000 lei, owned since 2003.
Maia Sandu also has a current account with a balance of 5,123 lei. When she took office as head of state, the politician declared a bank deposit of $21,091 dollars in the United States. According to the official statement, there were $300 left in Maia Sandu's account at the beginning of 2023.
When she took up her duties as President for the second term, Maia Sandu submitted the declaration of assets and personal interests, as the law requires.
