The inheritance procedure will be simplified and become more financially accessible. This was announced by the head of state, Maia Sandu.
"At many of the meetings I have in the country's localities, people address the topic related to the inheritance regime. I discussed with my colleagues in Parliament, and the law will be amended so that, especially for the spouse of the heir, this procedure will be cheaper and simpler," said the head of state.
According to Maia Sandu, after the legislative changes in 2018, the process of addressing inheritance-related issues became more expensive and complicated for citizens. Parliament is expected to make the necessary amendments as soon as possible, the Presidency informs.
