MAE collects signatures for Pensions and Wages project

The European Action Movement (MAE) leader Veaceslav Untila announced during a press conference his party began collecting signatures to support the “Pensions and wages” project, presented by him to the Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. “There are 205,000 employees and 130,000 pensioners in Moldova that live in misery. Their earnings are lower than the minimum living standard calculated by the Government” Untila said. MAE will install tents in district centers, where people will have the possibility to sign and support this initiative. Afterwards, the list of signatures will be presented to the Parliament. MAE proposes the minimum pensions and wages are increased to match the minimum living standard, so that no pension was below 1000 lei and no wage below 1200 lei.
