The National Chamber Choir "Madrigal – Marin Constantin" of Romania on Thursday evening performed on the stage of "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater in Chisinau. The concert was organized as part of the series of events dedicated to Romania's National Day in Chisinau, IPN reports.
The "Madrigal – Marin Constantin" Choir reunited with the Bessarabian public after a break of almost 30 years. The over 400 spectators had the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional program of international and Romanian music.
A special moment of the evening was the synchronization of the National Chamber Choir of Chisinau and the Romanian Choir "Madrigal – Marin Constantin", which sang together the anthems of the Republic of Moldova, Romania and the European Union.
The concert was staged by the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Moldova and the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau.
The National Chamber Choir "Madrigal – Marin Constantin" of Romania has a repertoire oriented towards the European renaissance, Byzantine music and Romanian and universal contemporary creation. The choir gave over 4,600 concerts around the world, thus becoming the ninth emblem of Romanian choral music.
