List of candidates for elections can be modified during one more day

Today, November 20, is the last day when the election runner can adjust their lists of candidates for the November 28 early legislative elections. The Central Election Commission (CEC) today will work from 9am until 6pm, with a break between 12.00 and 13.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. By November 20 inclusive, the election contenders registered with the CEC can replace the candidates, change their order on the list, add or remove persons from the list. After the expiry of the given term, the registration of the election runners can be annulled only by the electoral body that registered them, on the basis of a court decision and in case of death. On November 19, the Liberal Party included its ministers in the list. Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Anatol Salaru is the second on the list, Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru is the 22nd. He is followed by Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta and Minister of Youth and Sport Ion Cebanu. Under Article 13 of the Election Code, the ministers must leave their posts by November 23. The Humanist Party wrote former independent candidate Leonid Volneanski under number 6. The other political organizations that modified their lists are: the Christian Democratic People’s Party, the Labor Party, the Sociopolitical Movement of the Roma, the Sociopolitical Movement “Ravnopravie”, and the Republican Party.
