The 16th European Youth Olympic Winter Festival will take place in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo of Bosnia and Hercegovina during February 9-16, IPN reports.
Lilian Bînzari from Chisinau will represent Moldova at figure skating. The 15-year-old athlete, who will be accompanied by coach Paige Aistrop, will compete on February 13 and 14. The mission is headed by the vice president of the National Olympic and Sports Committee Larisa Popova, who became Olympic champion in 1980.
The 2019 Youth Olympic Winter Festival Sarajevo & East Sarajevo will bring together 911 athletes from 46 countries who will compete in eight events.
