Lilia Fisikovici set a new record of Moldova in half marathon at the IAAF Gold Label competition that was held in the Czech Republic, IPN reports.
Fisikovici achieved the result of 1:10.45, ranking sixth. Recently, the athlete broke the national record of 1:12.11 at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in Valencia.
Also, Moldovan athlete Olesea Smovjenko finished third at the Balkan Half Marathon Championships in Sarajevo. She improved her own performance to 1:16.41.
