Lexmax Chisinau made a bad start in the Beach Football Champions League “Euro Winners Cup”. In the first match of the competition, the team trained by Iurie Conusevici lost to Turkey’s Besiktas 4-5. The goals for Moldova were scored by Andrei Negara (two times), Alexei Capsamun, and Vitalie Lungu.
The main developments were witnessed in the third part. First, Negara missed a penalty. Afterward, Lexmax didn’t profit from the numerical superiority after the elimination of Torres. The opponents mobilized towards the end of the game and scored three times.
In the other match of Group B, Belenenses Portugalia beta Montredon Bonneveine France 6-5.
On May 16, Lexmax plays against Montredon Bonneveine, while Belenenses meets Besiktas. Only the winners of the five preliminary groups and the best three teams ranked second qualify for the next stage of the competition.
