Lexmax Stauceni has been eliminated from the UEFA Futsal Cup. In the decisive match on August 28, Moldova’s champion was demolished by Sporting Club Paris, France, 0-8, IPN reports.
The Moldovan players resisted only 2 minutes. Brazil’s Diogo scored three goals, while Juanillo and Teixeira scored by two goals each. The last goal was scored by Newton.
After this defeat, Lexmax ranks second in the preliminary group A and no longer claims the first position that ensures qualification for the next stage of the competition. In the first match of the group, the team trained by Oleg Petrov beat Nautara of Lithuania 4-0. All the goals were scored by Cristian Obada, the captain of Moldova’s youth team.
In the 2012 UEFA Futsal Cup, Lexmax was eliminated also in the first qualifying round.
